Wow, we just loved the Keys and Key West way more than we expected! We hit the beach hard, snorkeled, took in some live music, mixed it up with the locals, and drank. We got wondering if this was a place we could settle down in...hmmmmm.
Roosters in Key West:
Tropical Vacationland!
Gorgeous sunsets every night (these shots are from Mallory Square: "The World Famous Key West Sunset Celebration!")
Rainbow Pier in Key West:
Begining & Ending:
The Green Parrot Bar. Seems to me to be the best bar in the historic district of Key West. Weheard an aweome band play here and drank it up with a mostly local early evening crowd who were there to hear the band do a "sound check."
Purty:
The Southernmost Point...I wonder if we're going to end up in the Northernmost Point out there in the Seattle area?
Bahia Honda: absolutely without any doubt the most beautiful beach in FL and possibly in the USA. If you are in the Keys, please GO HERE! The remaining pics are all from Bahia Honda park.

Visiting the Fam in New Smyrna & PSL!
We spent a couple nights over at JB's --
Bubbles!
Lots of great sunsets, as always:
Awesome lighting on the docks at JB's:
Playing hopscotch in the sand:
Happy yet?
Momma:
Pops:
The many moods of Doug:
Momma:
Carson got very close to several Manatees:
Most of these great sunsets shots are from JB's. These shots were taken about 15 minutes apart. One focuses on the lamp and the other on the clouds (I think it is better on the lamp, since the clouds are more about the sunset colors, but oh well):
The moon is out during the sunset:
The Confederate rebel battle flag, and a symbol of racism to all but the insincere, all over as I travel across the south...
Uncle Bud:
Granny:
A close in crop of the moon taken with a stabilized 200 mm sigma lens on my Canon 40D, and a sunset:
Got a little golfing in with Pops, he nailed a par on one hole:
Hanging at Shrimper's in Stuart:
Bubbles!
